I don' t yet have experience with any other hurdy gurdies than ' Saphona', but it has been everything and more than what I expected. If you don' t have previous musical experience, it can be quite a challenge, but I would still stay that guitar is way harder to get started with. Overall I like the hurdy gurdy very much and recommend it to anyone who is looking to broaden the horizon of their musical adventure. I definitely plan to write down some pieces of my own with this instrument as well. Arranging your favorite songs for it is also really fun and good practice.
